Troopmaster Software now offers renewable licenses. New user licenses for TroopMaster and PackMaster start as low as $44.95, and license renewals start at only $29.95! Renewable licenses benefit users in several ways:

• One of the biggest features of our licensing policy is that, unlike almost all software sold today, our software is site licensed for use with your entire unit. This means that you are free to install multiple copies of the same program on separate computers for your different leaders--one copy is all you need for your entire unit. This benefit alone can save your unit hundreds of dollars if you have multiple leaders who will be working with the system.



• The license saves you from having to worry about periodic upgrades and when those might be released. Any unit with a current license is automatically entitled to a free software download whenever an upgrade or update is released. That means that if a new version is released two weeks or even two years after you purchase, your upgrade is free* as long as your license is current.



• If BSA makes changes to any of the advancement requirements or to the ScoutNET interface, you no longer need to purchase an upgrade. We'll implement those changes for you and provide a download link where you can get the latest version at no charge.



• Instead of waiting for a new full version to add user-suggested improvements, enhancements and new features, we can implement them at almost any point and provide them to you in free update releases. Of course, the updates may also contain "bug" fixes.



• The license includes free telephone and email support.



• Licensing is also very cost-effective. For example, the 3-year renewal fee is for TroopMaster or PackMaster is only $49.95, which averages out to only about $16/year (about the cost of a pizza). For that price, your software will always be current with BSA, and enhancements are free. Plus you'll have by far the best Scouting software on the market!



• If you'll only be keeping records for a short time, you can purchase a 1 or 2-year license and save even more!



• In short, licensing ensures that you get more value for your money by guaranteeing that your software will be current with the latest updates and BSA advancement changes for the entire length of your license without having to pay for additional upgrades.

*Upgrade/update downloads are completely free. New versions shipped on CD are $5 plus S/H.

NOTE: If you decide not to continue using the software and allow your license to expire, your software will revert to a "read only" mode (i.e., no updates allowed). This will allow you to get full printed copies/reports on any data currently in the system as well as the ability to export your data for use in another program (e.g., Excel, Access, etc.). If you change your mind and do decide to renew your license, you will then have full access to your database and be able to continue tracking your unit.
